In episode 35 we delve into the subject of Church Government. This will likely take up several episodes as Richard points out that almost the entirety of the New Testament is about this important subject. In part 1, as with most everything we do here, we start “In the beginning”. We look at the development of God’s Church Government throughout the Old Testament.
In this episode we discuss Agape. This topic has been discussed quite a bit in our community, as well it should. I consider Agape to be the most important concept in the Bible. However, the reason we decided to discuss Agape right after finishing the Prophecy of the Barren Wife is due to the close relationship these two concepts have with each other. The New Testament speaks of a bride who loves her husband. She is not a wife of legal obligation. The “Love” the New Testament Bride has for her Husband is… Agape.
In this episode we finish Richard’s paper “The Prophecy of the Barren Wife”. This paper hit me hard. My understanding of the Bible will never be the same after this. Welcome to Episode 29. We begin the episode with a lengthy discussion about coming to God’s word in an honest search for truth and not with a preconceived belief in your heart that you are trying to prove. IE – We should come to God and His word in spirit and truth. And, if we don’t not come to God and his word properly, what is the likely result? It’s a very enlightening discussion that I wish all could hear. Please share this episode if you agree. After that we go through the book of Colossians verse by verse which was also very enlightening. This was a great episode. We hope you enjoy and are edified.
